Nature speaks, but are we listening? As part of the 2023 Vivid Ideas program, I was joined on stage at the Australian Museum, by renowned naturalist Tim Low and the author of The 7 Energies of The Soul David Gandelman to explore how improving your relationship to nature can, in turn, improve your relationship with yourself. 

Following my exhibition The wound is the place where the light enters at Purdy Hicks Gallery in London in earlier this year, Photo London Magazine dedicated their entire issue 106 to interview me and feature the series.

I am thrilled to share that two of my works ‘Moluccan’ and ‘Red-tail’ are currently showing as part of "CIVILIZATION: The Way We Live Now”, an exhibition at Saatchi Gallery.

Yet another career highlight, to share as three of my artworks, all from my series High Society, are featured on Australia Post stamps.⁣

These past weeks have been one of my career highlights, presenting a large scale public video artwork called Temple in collaboration with Melvin J. Montalban - as part of the Vivid Sydney, a festival of Light, Music and Ideas.

It has been a dream of mine to create a significant public artwork, and with my collaborating partner Melvin J. Montalban and commissioned by Vivid Sydney, that dream has been realised.

Here’s an exhibition I wish I could visit - ’The Pet Show at Fotografiska in Stockholm, Sweden, which celebrates pets and their presence in art and popular culture.

I get many enquires about how to frame my work and I also love seeing where the birds end up, so I thought I would share these beautiful interiors where clients have chosen their frames.⁣

It’s hard to imagine - given Sydney is still in lockdown - but I am very honoured to be invited to Antarctica in 2023 thanks to the Australian Antarctic Arts Fellowship.

I’ve long wanted to do public art. I collaborated with Melvin J Montalban and thanks to the City of Sydney and The Galeries we were successful in receiving a grant to help create art to encourage life back into Sydney city.

Birdland includes a selection from my doves and pigeons series that were shown in New York. This is the first time that these works are being exhibited in Australia.

The home of Josh Cook - wildlife carer extraordinaire - was an incredible place for me to work and the place where I photographed a beautiful Welcome Swallow.

A big day for me. My work ’The wound is the place where the light enters - cut-throat finch’ has been selected as a finalist in the Bowness Photography Prize.

I am pleased to announce the release of my new book which is part of the 'Des Oiseaux’ series (French for 'On birds’).

Nature Is Not A Place To Visit. It Is Home. is the most ambitious project I have undertaken to date. Here is a time-lapse of the set building that went into its production. ⁣
