'Terre de Plume', (land of feathers) in the Botanical Gardens of Nancy, France.

The importance of getting outside into nature for your physical and mental health can not be overstated. If you live in or near Nancy, France I invite you to see my artworks outside, in a beautiful garden setting. The exhibition ‘Terre de Plume’ (Land of Feathers) has been presented in parallel with L’ Evenement Photo Nancy, in the famous botanical garden Jardin Botanique Jean-Marie Pelt, in Nancy, France.

‘Terre de Plume’ continues until 30th October 2023. If you have visited or plan to, I would love to see your photos! Please tag me or use the hashtag #leilajeffreys, and if you’re not able to make it to France (like me!) see below for a mini tour of just some of my featured friends forest bathing!

The Jardin Botanique Jean-Marie Pelt is the largest botanical park in France with more than 12,000 species, it provides valuable living material for plant knowledge and research in the 21st century. It possesses an alpine garden, arboretum, rose nursery, a systematics collection, historical and ornamental plants and tropical plant greenhouses. The Montet section has a rich collection of lilac and peonies, plant species collected by Lorraine horticulturalists associated with the Ecole de Nancy.
