Thank you to everyone involved in organising, speaking at and attending this talk at the Australian Museum as part of Vivid Ideas. It was a wonderful night.

The talk featured author and naturalist Tim Low, meditation expert David Gandelman and me. The basic premise of the talk is to discuss the importance of nature and What we can learn from Nature.

If you missed it or would like to hear it again you can now listen to it right HERE

And finally I was very touched by the beautiful account of the evening by journalist Megan Holbeck which you can read right HERE

Megan Holbeck writes beautifully about all things connected to nature in a broad range of sectors - outdoor, adventure, travel and sustainability among them. Her work has featured in Australian Geographic, the ABC, Galah, Wild and many other print and digital titles.

The evening at the Australian Museum also included an avian-inspired soundscape by Tom Hogan, and a museum 'tour' with performer and writer Nathan Harrison. My video artwork Nature is not a place to visit. It is home. was screened in the museum foyer, and Temple, my collaboration with Melvin J. Montalban was screened in the museum theatre.

It was a truly special evening, and I would like to thank Vivid and the Australia Museum for the very unique honour being able to conceive the special program which was so close to my heart.
