Books: Interview with a Cockatoo (or two)

Interview with a Cockatoo (or two) by Leila Jeffreys. Taking inspiration from the 1948 photographic book, ‘The Frenchman’, where a series of questions were posed to an actor who answered each with his facial expression, Leila decided to ‘interview’ cockatoos for this book. Imagining that they can understand us – but cannot speak –  the birds answer our questions with their expressions.
