High Society in New York
Today was my last day in NYC and I have had a wonderful time.
I have been fortunate to be supported by so many creative people before and during the exhibition. One such supporter is actress and art lover Brooke Shields. She is a dear friend and kind hearted soul...who also happens to have a cheeky sense of humour. Brooke has been a collector of my work for quite some time and opened my last exhibition. This time, despite the demands of her work and family we were able to catch up and see the new show and have some good laughs.
Part of the good fortune of exhibiting overseas has been meeting fellow art and bird lovers. I have met so many wonderful people and made new friends here in NYC. I had a lovely time meeting actress Debi Mazar. She is as funny and kind as you can imagine. A great actor, a lover of birds, and she travelled to see the exhibition with a broken foot while looking a million dollars.
Thank you to everyone who has visited from the opening night on. High Society continues at New York’s Olsen Gruin until mid January 2020.
